Enter Trinity history essay competition

Second-level students with a passion, or even a strong liking, for history are invited to enter the TCD Schools' Prize in History. Run in conjunction with The Irish Times and Four Courts Press, the competition is for students throughout Ireland and asks that they submit a 3,000-word essay on an Irish or European topic or an aspect of local history. There are three sections, junior, middle and senior, and entries must be in by April 17th, 2002. There are money prizes as well as specially commissioned medals for winners.
