Christmas choirs competition launched

Lyric FM has launched its second Choirs for Christmas Celebration and is inviting choirs and choral groups from all over Ireland to submit their own recordings of a carol, old or new, which will hopefully be broadcast on Lyric during December. It's open to groups from schools, churches and workplaces, semi-professional or amateur, three of which will be selected for special awards for outstanding performances. A number of choirs may also be asked to perform live during the Christmas season. Entries to Lyric Breakfast Choirs at Christmas, Lyric FM, Cornmarket Square, Limerick, before 5 p.m. on December 3rd.
