Molly and Rossa, the central characters of RTE's pre-school series, The Morbegs and Education & Living are offering young viewers a chance to win one of 30 Morbegs schoolbag and pencil case sets. Molly and Rossa have been a great success with the under-fives, according to an RTE spokeswoman.
Now in their third year of production, they attract an average audience of 78,000 and over 5,000 playgroups and Montessori schools around the country have asked for the programme notes.
The programmes are thematic. Each edition deals with a life-skill through the bouncy adventures of the central characters bouncy adventures. Every programme contains some Irish language content, which is introduced through short conversations, songs and rhymes, while simple maths are demonstrated through games.
In addition to the home-produced material, short animated inserts and environmental items are included. To win a Morbegs schoolbag and pencil case simply answer the these two questions.

Entries (giving Answer 1 and Answer 2) should be sent on a postcard to The Morbegs, RTE, Dublin 4. The first 30 correct entries out of the post-bag will be sent a schoolbag and pencil set.
