The Bob Dylan concert proposed for Galway in June is to go ahead following the granting of a licence to the promoters despite strong objections from local residents.
Galway City Council have granted the licence to Aiken Promotions to stage the Bob Dylan Concert at Pearse Stadium in Salthill on Sunday, 27th June 2004.
A spokesperson for Aiken Promotions said they would consult with the Gardai, the Western Health Board, the local community and other agencies to minimise impact and make the forthcoming concert at Pearse Stadium a successful event.
