The Democratic Unionist Party has condemned the British government for planning to grant an amnesty from prosecution for those involved in the abduction and murder of the Disappeared.

The Provisional IRA has said it will not release details of the location of the hidden graves until an amnesty is in place.

Mr Nigel Dodds, a DUP Assembly member, said: "This is another example of how the justice system has been corrupted so as to appease the IRA and its fellow travellers."
