A demonstration was held in Summerhill, Dublin, yesterday, to protest at the disruption of water supply in the area since last Wednesday. The protest was organised by Mountain View Court Estate Tenants' Association.
A spokeswoman for Dublin Corporation said mobile water tanks were being sent to the area and they would remain in place until the normal water supply was restored. She was unable to comment on the reasons for the delay in providing emergency supply.
