A Dublin man has been elected international president of Mensa, the society for people with high IQs. Mr David Schulman (70), a retired businessman, is currently the honorary president of Irish Mensa.
Mr Schulman does volunteer work as a librarian in the talking books section of the National Council for the Blind and the education department at Dublin Zoo.
He said his primary aim as honorary president was to co-operate with educational authorities to recognise and cater for gifted children.
