Dublin gardai seek help in identifying amnesiac

Gardaí are seeking assistance in identifying a man who was found in Dublin city centre, suffering from amnesia.

Gardaí are seeking assistance in identifying a man who was found in Dublin city centre, suffering from amnesia.

The man, who is currently in hospital, is unable to identify himself and has no memory of how he came to be in the city.

Gardaí said the man, who calls himself Maxmillan, is in his early 30's, is 5'8", weighs 12 stone and is of medium build.

He has short black hair, blue eyes and a sallow complexion. When found he was wearing a grey pinstripe suit, a light grey shirt, black slip-on shoes, a black tie and a gold chain.

He was carrying a small suitcase containing some items of clothing.

It is believed that he has lived in Ireland for a number of years but may be originally from South Africa.
