A man described as the most active drug-dealer in Drogheda was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in prison yesterday after being convicted of possession of six kgs of cannabis resin with intent to supply to others.
Paul Coddington (29) Marian Villas, Laytown, Co Meath, had pleaded not guilty to possession of 24 slabs of the drug which were found in a ditch at Sheepgrange, Drogheda, on May 19th, 1997.
He also pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to supply or sell to others.
