The driver of a car involved in a fatal accident in Tyrone on Sunday night was charged yesterday with causing the deaths of two men by dangerous driving. Mr Pauric James Gallagher (23), of Fallagh Road, Mountfield, Omagh, appeared at a special court in Omagh.
He was remanded in custody until next Tuesday on charges of causing the deaths of Mr Fintan Ward (32), of Glenelly View, Plumbridge, and Mr Emmet Devine (20), of Cairn Park, Gortin.
They were passengers in a Vauxhall car which struck a bridge on the Calvagallion Road near Gortin.
