Thieves stole sacks of used clothing left outside homes in Armagh for collection by Barnardos charity shop.
A total of 275 bags bearing the Barnardos logo had been distributed. But when the shop manageress, Ms Fiona Gildea, and a vanman returned on the designated day, only six were waiting for them.
