NEW YORK - A former UN official who served in a peacekeeping mission 40 years ago has donated $100,000 (£63,000) to help the UN overcome its financial crisis, a spokesman said yesterday.
UN spokesman, Mr Ahmad Fawzi, said the donor requested his name and nationality not be made public.
