Eric Djemba-Djemba should be confirmed as Manchester United's latest signing this afternoon, but the Premiership champions are struggling to push through a deal for Ronaldinho.

Djemba-Djemba is in Manchester today completing the medical that should finalise his £3 million sterling move from French club Nantes.

The 23-year-old has already agreed personal terms and an announcement is likely this afternoon, although he will not be formally unveiled as he is due to return to Cameroon to attend the funeral of international team-mate Marc-Vivien Foe.

However, Paris St Germain have turned down United's initial bid for Ronaldinho - believed to be in the region of £11 million.
