A number of areas in Dublin are continuing to suffer water disruption, with Dublin City Council advising people to conserve water.

Local authorities in Dublin have provided updated information on their websites today about areas suffering reduced or disrupted supply as a result of a severe water shortage.

South Dublin County Council said the water restriction schedule was likely to continue until Monday, January 25th.

Fingal County Council said water pressure would be reduced in all areas over the coming days from the evening until early the following morning to allow reservoirs to refill.

It said a burst water main on the Ballyboughil to Naul road had affected water supplies in the Naul area yesterday but that services should resume. Homes on high ground may experience some low pressure.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council said Gowrie Park, Sallynoggin Park and Moreen Estate/Sandyford Road/Greenlands would all be without water today in order to facilitate the repair of burst watermains.

A water tanker will be in place today in Cuala, Hyde Park Road, Dalkey from 12 noon to 7pm it said.
