A listing session to fix trials for the planned special vacation sittings at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in September did not proceed yesterday due to an om ission in the legal diary.
Judge Cyril Kelly said attempts were being made to ascertain why notice of the list had not appeared in yesterday's legal diary despite a direction from the acting President of the Circuit Court, Judge Diarmuid Sheridan, that the notice be published. As a result, cases seeking trial dates were adjourned to tomorrow.
