Gardaí are investigating the death of a 44-year-old man who was taken to St James¿s Hospital in Dublin last night.
The man who has not yet been named, was reportedly from Kilmainham, and was admitted at 11.30 p.m. He died this afternoon.
The State pathologist Professor John Harbison will carry out a post mortem later today.
