DART services in Dublin face disruption this weekend after a serious fire in the
Fairview depot early this morning.
A Garda spokesman told ireland.coma full investigation into the incident was under way.
Four DART carriages were destroyed, two were badly damaged, and 24 carriages were smoke damaged in the fire which was reported at 3.25 a.m.

The scene has been preserved for a full technical examination to try and discover the cause of the blaze.
Iarnród Éireann said there will be a limited service across the weekend, and staff were trying to get as many of the smoke damaged carriages operational as soon as possible.
DARTs are currently running in both directions every half-hour.
