The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) is considering selling its 24 per cent interest in Birmingham International Airport.

The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) is considering selling its 24 per cent interest in Birmingham International Airport.

The DAA said this morning it was exploring the disposal of its stake in the fifth largest passenger airport in the United Kingdom.

The disposal would take place through the DAA's wholly owned subsidiary, Aer Rianta.

It follows a decision by ARI and Macquarie Airports Group to consider selling their 48.25 per cent joint stake.
