The Czech President, Mr Vaclav Havel, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Dagmar Havlova, and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Jan Kavan, will visit Belfast today.
His first meeting, in Hillsborough Castle, will be with representatives of victims groups and Sir Kenneth Bloomfield of the Victims Liaison Unit.
The President will also meet Mr David Trimble and Mr Seamus Mallon, along with members of the Northern Ireland Assembly at Parliament Buildings, and then meet the Lord Mayor at the City Hall.
