NICOSIA - Air raid sirens wailed over Nicosia yesterday morning in remembrance of the Greek backed coup 22 years ago which led to Turkey's invasion of Cyprus five days later.
A memorial service was held in Nicosia for the victims of the coup against then president, Archbishop Makarios.
