Havana - More than 100,000 Cubans have mourned over a small, wooden box holding the remains of Ernesto "Che" Guevara. Yesterday thousands waited to pay respects on the second day of a week marking the 30th anniversary of Guevara's death in Bolivia.
By midday more than 100,000 people had filed past Guevara's remains and those of comrades killed with him by a CIA-trained unit of the Bolivian army.
Meanwhile in Bejucal, Cuba's Catholic Cardinal Jaime Ortega complained that authorities had not allowed him celebrate an outdoor Mass or lead an outdoor procession of the Virgin of Charity.
