BRIEFS:The Law Societys Law School will receive on October 5th the European Language Label 2012 for its course on legal Irish. The label is co-ordinated by the European Commission but managed by individual Member States (the language organisation Léargas is Ireland's agent for the ELL) with national juries deciding on detailed criteria.

Personal injuries lawyers to meet on September 28th

The Association of Personal Injuries Lawyers is holding an conference on September 28th in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane. Speakers include legal cost accountant Paul English, Philip Fagan (State Claims Agency), barrister Sarah Reid and journalist Kieron Wood. The conference will be chaired by Liam Moloney.
