A coroner has commended the actions of two Dublin Bus employees, Paddy Hayde and Thomas O’Reilly, who went to the assistance of a man who died after setting himself on fire.

The 48-year-old man died of pneumonia due to burns at St James’s Hospital on July 7th, 2010.

Dublin City Coroner’s Court heard he set himself alight in his car two days earlier at the Bus Éireann car park in Broadstone.
