Gardaí at Gurranabraher, Co Cork, are seeking the public's help in relation to an attempted robbery of Grenagh Post Office, Blarney, Co Cork, last month.

At about 2.13pm on February 25th, a man entered the Post Office with what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the post master. He fled the scene empty handed, however, and no shots were fired.

The man is described as wearing a blue boiler suit, a bright-coloured hooded top and gloves. He was of slim build and wore a balaclava.

Gardaí are also interested in a black Ford Escort car that was later located a short distance away from the scene, and they believe a bicycle may have been used.
