Come to Slapland:The UK trading standards authority has received more than 2,000 complaints about a Christmas attraction called Lapland in Dorset.

There have been reports of three-hour queues for Santa which have led to violence. "Santa got attacked, one of the elves got smacked in the face and pushed into a pram," said one ex-employee. Visitors have complained that a "magical tunnel of light" turned out to be a line of trees with some lights on them while the log cabins resembled B&Q sheds.
