London - A gynaecologist appeared before the General Medical Council yesterday accused of neglecting his patients and abusing his skills with mistakes over 17 years.
Mr Richard Neale (52) is facing 35 allegations relating to 14 women patients and two charges of falsifying his CV. Women were left bleeding, incontinent, scarred and in agony after he operated on them. British-born Mr Neale was allowed to work in the UK from 1985 until 1997, despite being barred from practising in Canada after the deaths of two of his patients.
