Dublin-based directory assistance provider Conduit said today it turned profitable ahead of expectations in the fourth quarter with a pre-tax profit of €68,289 compared to a loss of €2.8 million in the fourth quarter of the previous year.
Revenues increased by 72 per cent to €52.3 million in 2002 compared to the prior year of €30.4 million.
The company added it has seen a continued improvement in EBITDA in the quarter, to a positive figure of €1.7 million compared to an EBITDA profit of €0.3 million in the third quarter.
Call volumes for the year rose by 83 per cent to €82.6 million calls as compared to €45.2 million in the prior year.
