Mr Alistair Graham, head of the Parades Commission, has accepted an invitation from the Northern Secretary, Dr Mo Mowlam, to extend his chairmanship of the body for another year. He was appointed to the commission on its formation in March last year.
Mr Frank Guckian, director of Derry Chamber of Commerce, and Mr David Hewitt, a solicitor and a former Irish rugby international, who were appointed to the first commission, have also agreed to continue on the body.
