The Minister for Education, Mr Martin, has announced capital investment of £3 million to develop facilities at Dublin Institute of Technology. The funding will enable DIT to provide an extra 200 places in high-technology courses.
Meanwhile, the director of Cork Institute of Technology, Mr Patrick Kelleher, has welcomed Mr Martin's announcement of additional funding for over 600 places at CIT.
