A crash near Ballymascanlon, north of Dundalk has claimed a second life.
A woman in her thirties, who was in a passenger in a car which was in collision with a motorcyclist, has died.
The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead on arrival at Louth County Hospital yesterday immediately after the crash on the main Dublin to Belfast road at 4.30 p.m. yesterday.
Four others were injured in the crash.
