Washington - President Clinton said yesterday the US deeply regretted the deaths 50 years ago of South Korean civilians near the village of No Gun Ri.
"On behalf of the United States of America, I deeply regret that Korean civilians lost their lives at No Gun Ri in late July 1950," Mr Clinton said in a written statement.
