LONDON - The art collection of the British singer and guitarist, Eric Clapton, was sold for £419,665, the auctioneers Christie's announced yesterday.
The highest price of £87,300 was paid for a work by the contemporary Italian artist, Sandro Chia, called Meditation, more than double the estimate.
