London - A British television company said yesterday it was investigating claims that parts of its award-winning documentary on a Colombian drugs cartel were faked.
The Guardian newspaper said that The Connection, a 1996 documentary made by independent Carlton Communications Plc on on the Cali cartel and its heroin smuggling route between South America and London, contained a number of major deceptions.
