The preliminary hearing in a civil case being taken by relatives of those killed in the Omagh bombing returns to court today after being adjourned two weeks ago.
Lawyers for the relatives, who are members of the Omagh Victims Civil Action Group, said they expect further legal argument on the issue of applications for legal aid by the accused.
Five men are being sued for £14 million sterling in damages: Seamus Daly, Seamus McKenna, Michael McKevitt, Liam Campbell and Colm Murphy.
As it is a civil case the families are pursuing damages, not convictions, for murder. The full case is not expected to start until early 2005.
The Belfast High Court has yet to decide if Mr David Rupert - who testified against McKevitt - can give evidence via video link. Prior to the adjournment, the court heard Mr Rupert feared for his life and was living under protection.
