Manchester City were dumped out of the UEFA Cup when they were held to a 0-0 draw in the second leg of their second round tie against Groclin Grodzisk in Poland.

City, eighth in the premier league, drew 1-1 at home earlier this month, a result that proved costly as Groclin edged through on away goals.

Groclin, fifth in the Polish league, dominated the first half but were unable to convert several scoring opportunities, the best of which came in the 28th minute when Andzej Niedzielna had a shot cleared off the line by Chinese defender Sun Jihai.
