The four church leaders of Ireland came together yesterday to visit the COPE Foundation in Cork. The foundation works with 1,600 children and adults with intellectual disability.

Dr Sean Brady, Catholic Primate of All Ireland; the Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Rev Robin Eames; the Right Rev Trevor Morrow, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland; and the Rev Kenneth Todd, President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, visited some of the services provided by the Montenotte group.

Afterwards, they conducted an ecumenical service at Ennismore Lodge, a new service centre for people with severe intellectual disability.
