A Chinese man stabbed 10 people to death, including six children, in an attack on his wife's family before killing himself by drinking pesticide, state media said today.
Wang Changyi, upset over "family conflicts", committed mass murder last Tuesday while they slept in a remote village in the poor southwestern province of Yunnan, Xinhua news agency said in a reported.
State media said earlier that the victims included his wife's sister, brother and six of his nephews and nieces. His wife, a migrant worker, escaped with two children, while her mother was seriously wounded.
