SYDNEY - A group of 13 missing children, including an infant, were safe and well yesterday after six of them walked out of the remote Australian outback to end a two day search, police said.

The group, led by an Aboriginal woman, Ms Wanda Schultz (27), had gone missing on Saturday while out gathering native grubs near the gold mining town of Norseman, 550km east of Perth in Western Australia state. Police had expressed grave concern for their safety shortly before the first six were found by police after a trek of 60km.
