London - A week after the murder of BBC presenter Jill Dando, police have released CCTV film of her last hours in a bid to jog the memory of anyone who came into contact with her or her killer, Rachel Donnelly reports.
The films show Ms Dando shopping in west London shortly after leaving the home of her fiance, Dr Alan Farthing, last Monday morning, before she was killed on the doorstep of her Fulham home by a single gunshot to the head.
The possibility that Ms Dando was murdered by a jealous acquaintance is a strongly-held theory among detectives, according to reports yesterday. Her agent, Mr Jon Roseman, said at the weekend that he was convinced she knew her killer.
Almost 300 friends and members of Milton Baptist Church in Weston-super-Mare att ended a service for Ms Dando yesterday in which the pastor, the Rev Marc Owen, spoke of her long associations with the church in which she was baptised as a teenager.
