A Seán Cavanagh goal proved the difference as Tyrone defeated Mayo to reach the All-Ireland under-21 football final this afternoon.
Cavanagh, who will feature in the senior final against Armagh later this month, bossed the midfield alongside Dermot Carlin and despite a late rally from Mayo, the Ulster county held on for a deserved win.
