Havana - President Fidel Castro of Cuba fired his reformist foreign minister, Mr Roberto Robaina, in a surprise move yesterday replacing him with his private secretary, Mr Felipe Perez Roque.
The moderate Mr Robaina had been considered as a possible successor to Dr Castro.
