Three cars were burned out and a fourth badly damaged in Limerick early yesterday morning

Three cars were burned out and a fourth badly damaged in Limerick early yesterday morning. Residents of Castle Court on Clancy Strand, an apartment block, found that their cars had been set alight. Fires were started at around 2.50 a.m. and a unit of Limerick Fire Brigade was called to the scene.

Garda forensic experts yesterday examined the burnt-out wrecks to try and establish if petrol or some other kind of incendiary was used in the attacks.

Gardai at Mary Street, Limerick, 061-414342 are seeking witnesses.
