No-one does a pirouette after the dance performance at the Samuel Beckett Theatre but there are plenty of excited skips and hops. The Coisceim Dance Theatre has Yoshiko Chuma, from New York, the artistic director of a dance company herself, looking very impressed. She's one of the first out of the stalls. Marena Hughes and Anna Devlin, film producers who are "just back" from the Sundance Film Festival . . . in, eh, January . . . are also thrilled. Maureen Curran, from Carrickfergus in Co Antrim, has come along with her daughter, Ali Curran, director of the Dublin Fringe Festival, and Jackie O'Keeffe.
The actress, Maire Ni Ghrainne, is a "real fan" of choreographer David Bolger - "he's so innovative". Another fan is Dermot McLaughlin, Artform director with the Arts Council, who describes the performance, entitled When Once is Never Enough, as "a beautiful night out". The show ends this week in Dublin and tours to Waterford, Longford, Limerick and Letterkenny.
