Bus Éireann has announced a major revision of Limerick city’s bus network in a move which aims to provide customers with an improved level of service and the introduction of seven new buses. From Sunday, Bus Éireann will scrap some services and merge others, while ensuring key city areas keep the same level of service.
The first change to bus timetables in Limerick since 2005 will see the merger of the service between the city and University of Limerick, and the city and Raheen, into one service. Limerick city bus customers will also benefit from the National Transport Authority’s real-time passenger information signs being introduced at 19 of the city’s busiest bus stops.
