London - The renegade British spy, Mr David Shayler, yesterday threatened to reveal more secrets about his former employers, MI5, unless the British government strikes an immunity deal with him. He warned that unless he was allowed return to Britain without fear of prosecution, he might reveal more information.
Mr Shayler is still living in France, where judges ruled against a British government extradition request to face charges of breaching the Official Secrets Act after he criticised the management of the secret services.
Since leaving prison last month, Mr Shayler has said he would be prepared to negotiate a deal with the British government under which he would not make further revelations without permission if he was allowed immunity.
