The number of outbreaks of foot-and-mouth in Britain has risen to 205, including the confirmed case in Northern Ireland, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food said tonight.
Eight cases were confirmed by MAFF earlier today and a further fourteen were announced tonight, bringing the daily total to 22.
The newest outbreaks were in Bowness-on-Solway, Cumbria; Raughton, Cumbria; High Offley, Staffs; Penrith, Cumbria; Marston, Staffs; Wigton, Cumbria; Lydney, Gloucestershire; Gretna, Dumfries and Galloway; Silloth, Cumbria.
