Dublin southsiders who have found it necessary to head up to Terenure to try to find organic meat will be delighted to know that Danny O'Toole has opened a second butcher's shop, devoted to selling organically produced meat, on the main street in Glasthule, Sandycove, just south of Dun Laoghaire. Tom O'Connor has charge of the new venture, and it is a lovely, simple space, with amazingly good meat: just buy some of the striploin, take it home and fry, and it will knock your socks off with flavour. Also worthy of mention, in a shop of good things, is the bacon, which is among the best I have come across in aeons. They will also be offering organic turkeys for Christmas, so order now.
