A boy (13) has died in an accident on a building site in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
It is believed the boy was playing in large concrete pipes with his sister and two others last night when a pipe collapsed on top of him.
He died a short time later at Mullingar hospital.
A post-mortem is to be carried out today. The Garda has not yet released the boy's name.
