A two-year-old boy has died after falling into a pond while on holidays in Co Cork.
The toddler was found floating the in pond this morning near the caravan he was staying in with his parents in Dysart, Youghal.
It is believed the boy was trying to retrieve a toy from the water when he fell in.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital but efforts to resuscitate him failed and he was pronounced dead this afternoon.
