A post-mortem is to be held on the body of a man whose body was found in a slurry tank at a meat factory in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, following what appears to be an accident.
Mr Joseph Cullivan (54) from Carriga, Crosskeys, Co Cavan, was a maintenance man at Liffey Meats. He was last seen at 4 p.m. on Tuesday working at the plant. Afterwards he was reported missing and a search took place. His body was discovered at 9 p.m. on Tuesday night when searchers emptied the slurry tank.
